Workflow automation between Greenhouse and Workday for leading transportation company

Client:

Rapidly expanding European and North American inter-city coach service company.

Challenge:

Our client is an innovative ground transportation company that is experiencing rapid growth by reinventing the experience of intercity coach travel. Their growth required them to adopt Greenhouse Recruiting, which is a new best-of-breed applicant tracking system. The upgrade of their applicant tracking system was necessary to streamline their recruiting processes and support their accelerated expansion into new countries and markets. Their core HRIS is Workday, so having tight integration between their ATS and Workday is essential to eliminate manual data entry and coordinate recruiting and hiring workflows. Our challenge was to design and develop the integration to meet the tight go-live deadline imposed by the license expiry of their old ATS.

Solution:

Using a combination of the Workday Studio and Mulesoft, Dispatch created a bespoke integration that:

  • Synchronizes foundational data from Workday to Greenhouse
  • Exports new and updated job requisitions from Workday to Greenhouse
  • Exports hired candidate data from Greenhouse to Workday

A portion of the integration was delivered ahead of schedule to support the migration of data in preparation for go-live. Dispatch also provided the client Workday advisory support when needed as well as post-go-live support to fine-tune the workflow automation.
