Start-up SaaS HR Analytics & Performance Management Platform

Problem:

This startup had developed an extremely innovative Culture Analytics and Employee Engagement platform. They had some traction, but were asked by their customers to deliver an enterprise-integrated solution. Their customers wanted this for ease of use and to take advantage of the data that exists in their existing HRIS systems. Building an API would distract the core engineering team, and was insufficient to ensure enterprise-grade integrations containing very sensitive employee data. The startup also wanted to integrate to 3rd party open data such as weather, traffic and news-flow to look for trends between external events and employee engagement.

Solution:

Using our proprietary integration platform, we built secure connections to key HRIS systems that would allow for HR data to flow between systems in near-real-time. Our approach protects all sensitive and personally identifiable information with encryption and secure transfer protocols between applications. This integration amplified the value of the solution and positioned the software as “enterprise-ready”.
