Client:
Our client is a recognized global leader in the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and Service Catalog software space, helping enterprises streamline complex quoting and service delivery workflows.
Recently named in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPQ, this client was praised for its powerful platform. To further enhance its position in the Magic Quadrant, the company identified that having a more robust integration capability would be essential. To address this, our client partnered with Dispatch to develop a sophisticated integration strategy and quickly implement core integrations with partner technology platforms.
Challenge:
While the company’s core platform is seen as a benchmark in its industry, customers increasingly require seamless interoperability with downstream systems like ServiceNow (for order fulfillment) and LogiSense (for subscription billing and usage-based invoicing). The absence of a standardized integration framework made it harder for our client to meet enterprise automation expectations. To accelerate growth, they required a scalable integration platform enabling customers to implement end-to-end quote-to-cash workflows without requiring costly professional services projects and managing bespoke code.
Solution:
To address these challenges, Dispatch conducted a full strategic review of the data, systems, workflows, business needs and context of existing and potential customers, using our DEEP strategy development framework. Based on this review, Dispatch recommended implementing Workato Embedded as an enterprise-grade integration platform that would accelerate integration development and implementation and reduce the support and maintenance required in production. Within weeks of adopting Workato, Dispatch began working on the first core integration with LogiSense, which automates the workflows between quoting and billing.
Dispatch leveraged our DIVE integration development methodology to deliver the first integration use cases, focusing on rapid value time. The LogiSense integration streamlines the quote-to-cash process by transforming service contracts into fully configured billing packages. This integration builds account hierarchies, generates services, bundles SKUs into packages, applies billing frequencies, and assigns those packages to the correct accounts — all fully automated.
In parallel, Dispatch also built an integration with ServiceNow, automating the creation of accounts, product specifications, product offerings, and product orders directly from quote snapshots. This eliminates manual handoffs and ensures fulfillment processes can begin as soon as deals are finalized.
Outcome:
With both integrations live in less than eight weeks and operating natively through Workato Embedded, our client significantly advanced its integration strategy and can now deliver end-to-end automated workflows that add value to its customers. The automated ServiceNow and LogiSense integrations eliminate manual processes, reduce errors, and accelerate downstream fulfillment and billing workflows. Most importantly, our client can now offer these integrations as part of its core product experience, delivering an immediate return on investment to customers while positioning itself as a more scalable, enterprise-ready solution in the CPQ and quote-to-cash space.
